2003​

Brooks’ Smokehouse has been open since 2003 as catering business.  We focus on real Smokehouse meats using a mix of Apple, Pecan, Hickory, Oak, Cherry and Mesquite woods. Ronald Brooks and several family members are involved in the Mobile Pit and Catering business.  Ronald Brooks has been cooking for over 30 years, involving his wife-Louela, son-Reginald and Reginald's wife Yolan. Brooks' Smokehouse serves real Cajun BBQ. We bring Louisiana and Texas together when serving a variety of items, which include our select meats alligator, catfish, pork ribs, beef briskets, chicken, pulled pork and sausage made in house. Our 9x4 foot, brick, mortar and steel smokehouse was built by the hands of Ronald Brooks and Reginald Brooks (son).
